Don Cardini (Dan Ellis) is a driver for a group of wannabe superstar actors and movie moguls, when one day someone special enters his miserable life, b-movie starlet Riversa Red (Sindy Faraguna). Being a somewhat ill adjusted, take no shit kind of guy he finds himself on the wrong side of just about everybody in the cast. Not caring two hoots as long as Miss Red can see his special eye for knowing what the audience wants, this inevitably leads to conflict with the director. After getting fired, poor Don goes schizo and of course he won't go quietly. From here on it's a game of survival for the cast as Don goes his ultimate cut!

The main thread/story of Bleading Lady revolves around obsession. The directors obsession for the perfect scene, the actors for their fame and of course the driver Don's need to be taken seriously; not to mention his infatuation with Riviera Red. Where does it all lead? To a not so nice place. The problem with Bleading lady is that there are too many things that don't fit right. Firstly it's obvious right from the get go that Don is a psycho, in fact it's so obvious it makes me wonder why none of the other characters can't see it. Talk about a temper problem.

Secondly, the pacing of the movie is just slow. I mean really.... slow. It does start well but sadly after the sweet opening things just plod a long at a snails pace. It really isn't until the end when things start to heat up and the tension builds to nail biting levels. The thing is, I wonder how many will still be watching by the time it comes around?

Personally i found some of the characters to be annoying. I thought I was going to like the main antagonist Don to start with but his temper issue just starts to grate after a while, he needs more dimensions to make him believable and interesting. The actor Dan Ellis does do a decent job of portraying his mania, especially at the end but sadly the rest of the cast don't fair so well in my opinion. Very disjointed acting by and large.

I'm finding it tough to recommend Bleading Lady. Sure it has it's plus points (there's a nice twist at the end) but there's just not enough of them to warrant making that purchase. This is one best caught on TV if you ever get the chance but other than that avoid.
