2-Headed Shark Attack revolves around a group of students who head out on the ocean to do some learning and get involved in the general things students like to get involved in. When their boat starts leaking due to a shark attack they take refuge on a nearby atoll. Here they find themselves mercilessly stalked and fed upon by a mutated two headed shark that only has one thing on it's mind: food. With the Atoll proving geologically unstable it becomes a race to seek help not just from the shark but from the sinking island.
What is it with sharks at the moment? They have some really bad PR it seems. Just like the recently reviewed Sand Sharks, this movie has a different take on the classic shark movie, a shark with 2 heads, that makes 6000 teeth supposedly. Quiet honestly i'm not sure if a 2 headed shark is anymore more scary than a 1 headed shark but anyway...
Just like Sand Sharks this movie also has Brooke Hogan in a starring role who is certainly very pretty to look at. In fact 2-Headed Shark Attack has quite a few good looking women in it, including none other than Baywatch babe Carmen Electra. There is some nudity though don't expect Carmen or Brooke to get their kit off.
The characters are fairly stereotypical, disposable types who really aren't that memorable, though i did actually quite like Brooke Hogan's character and i thought Brooke's performance was decent even if nothing amazing. Same could be said for most of the actors.
The special effects aren't really that special to be honest, very CGI like and naff looking though they suffice for this kind of movie i guess. I don't know if this flick has been on Syfy yet but if it hasn't, i bet it's only a matter of time.
Ultimately 2-Headed Shark Attack isn't very scary, it's a goofy, totally unrealistic movie that's fun in parts and generally good for taking the piss out of. As long as you don't take the movie too seriously you should enjoy it somewhat but if your looking for some serious horror then you'd best avoid.
